The hotel was located in the middle of the city.
The room was a little dated.

The staff couldn't have been nicer, they were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was a problem. Beds sooo comfortable. Food in both restaurant and bar great.
The fact that we were overlooking peoples houses and back gardens and the front of the hotel faced a Nissan garage was a bit off putting. It felt like it was put in the middle of a housing estate and industry! Fine if your surroundings don't matter. Nothing within walking distance.

I loved the comfort and style of the room. It was a good size and was very comfortable and relaxing. The room was cleaned everyday to an excellent standard and I especially loved the duvet, the size of the bed, and the shower.

Hotel decor is lovely, spa & leisure facilities were excellent & not too crowded. Also breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
The hotel is located is a bit outside Athlone town. I would have preferred to be closer to shopping/bars/restaurants.

The staff were friendly and helpful; the leisure centre had good opening hours and the location suited our needs.
On both nights of our stay, there were several episodes of considerable noise on the bedroom corridors between 1am and 3 am when guests were returning to their bedrooms. This was far in excess of what one would normally experience in a hotel of this type. I understand that there was a function on in the hotel on one of the nights. I accept that this is a difficult issues for hotels to manage but I feel that some signs -for example, a movable sign placed strategically beside the lift after midnight ) or requests to guests when they are checking in might do something to raise their level of awareness of their impact on other guests.

Just a good match for a cursory stop in Athlone with good value for money. The D spa was amazing and a highlight of my stay. Make sure to check out the spa services while you're there.

Unique hotel, staff were especially helpful and rooms were top-notch. Loved the room with a bath, my bed was comfortable. The venue had a central setting in the changing area that was filthy. It was also adjacent to bar, restaurant and the centre of town. Overall the service was excellent. Staying here for one night was brilliant, totally recommendable.

The pool was very clean and I had complimentary drinks in the pizza bar. The breakfast was hot for everyone's taste, there were great toast and cereals. The stuff were ATTENTIVE and absolutely excellant and the location was magnificent to the new refurbishment of bar.
